Description Glenn Johnson 2004-04-13 09:12:17 UTC
When using the current mailer.conf file supplied by the
net-mail/ssmtp-2.60.4-r1 ebuild, the following error occurs when trying to send mail:

mailwrapper: no mapping in /etc/mailer.conf

The following line needs to be added to the mailer.conf file to get this to work:

send-mail /usr/sbin/ssmtp

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge ssmtp
2. try send a mail
3.

Actual Results:
The following error message:

mailwrapper: no mapping in /etc/mailer.conf

Expected Results:
Sent the mail via the ssmtp program specified in mailer.conf

Weird. I had several people test out this ebuild w/o send-mail in
mailer.conf and it worked for them. I've added send-mail to a new revision,
and it should be on CVS shortly. Please reopen if you still have problems.
