Description Paul McDermott 2013-07-10 23:10:08 UTC
Some QGIS plugins (e.g. Plugin Builder) expect dev-python/PyQt4 to be built with WebKit support. When it is not, installation of the plugin fails with an error message

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install dev-python/PyQt4 without WebKit support
2.Install QGIS 1.8.0
3.Try to install Plugin Builder
Actual Results:
Error message:

This plugin is broken. Python said:
cannot import name QtWebKit

Expected Results:
Plugin runs normally

re-emerging dev-python/PyQT4 with USE="webkit" fixes the problem
