What action is required by the Trustees? In general I don't think Trustees need to be added unless the license team is unable to resolve an issue, or unless we've been contacted by a copyright holder/etc and asked to take action. I'm not in any way suggesting that this isn't something important to fix - only that not everything needs to be solved by committee. The licensing team does a good job taking care of issues, and they're always welcome to bring us in if they need backup on something.

I remember someone saying on the ML to CC trustees on license issues as well, but I could be wrong.

That was me, but only for license issues that can't be resolved by the license team, or when we've been given a takedown notice or otherwise have been contacted by a copyright holder (ie when we can't afford to take a few weeks to sort things out and can be held accountable for due diligence).
that's what it should probably look like # most media: CC-BY-SA-2.5 # shaderlab textures: shaderlab # most part of the code: GPL-2 # src/game/bg_lib.c: BSD-4 # src/qcommon/unzip.c: ZLIB # src/jpeg-6/* and src/renderer/jpeg_memsrc.c: IJG # src/client/snd_adpcm.c: HPND LICENSE="BSD-4 CC-BY-SA-2.5 CWI GPL-2 HPND IJG shaderlab ZLIB" the question remains whether shaderlab allows redistribution

He wrote an email to the Tremulous maintainer for this, so I think it's ok to say it's CC right now."

I made a mistake when committing CC-BY-NC-ND-1.0, it should be CC-BY-ND-NC-1.0. I have fixed this now. https://wiki.creativecommons.org/License_Versions "Note that in the 1.0 license suite, the name of this license is different than later versions"
