I think it is something else, as I just rebuilt with gcc-4.8.1 without error.

You seem to be the only person affected by this bug... are you sure it's not caused by a broken gcc installation? the failure is inside gcc headers...

Also, can you reproduce with qtdeclarative-4.8.5?
