Way to repoduce
 emerge libreoffice
 make a new .odb Base-file
 create a new table
 fill it with some lines of data
 use the wizard to create report...
  at step 4 "Sort Options" use the "sort by" e.g. decending
 finish the wizard

Now Libreoffice just shows the first line with the default example-typing.
Just do no sorting at step 4 shows the data, but not in wanted order :-(

libreoffice 3.6 worked as expected.
It doesn't matter if you use an old file or make a new one.
The bug sounds familiar to me, but I can't find an old on the bugtracker.

Used versions:
libreoffice-4.0.4.2
icedtea-bin-6.1.12.5
gcc-4.6.3

Compiled and tested libreoffice-4.1.0.1 today,
No change, "way to reproduce" still works.

It is fixed in 4.0.1.2 I will bump it soon (soon as in now when cvs stops obstructing me).

Tested new libreoffice-4.1.0.2
Works as needed.
