Created attachment 29234 [details] kphotobook ebuild here is my first ebuild, i hope it works and is ok (dependencies)
Created attachment 34077 [details] new version kphotobook-0.0.6.ebuild The latest version of kphotobook is 0.0.6 Why does it take so long to add the ebuild to the official portage tree??
Testing on amd64 shows for me, that 0.0.6 works. So the ~amd64 keyword can be added. take care, have fun /christian Portage 2.0.51.19 (default-linux/amd64/2005.0, gcc-3.4.3, glibc-2.3.4.20041102-r0, 2.6.11-gentoo-r3 x86_64) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.11-gentoo-r3 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+ Gentoo Base System version 1.4.16 Python: dev-lang/python-2.3.4-r1 [2.3.4 (#1, Mar 10 2005, 19:22:04)] distcc 2.18.3 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu (protocols 1 and 2) (default port 3632) [disabled] ccache version 2.3 [enabled] dev-lang/python: 2.3.4-r1 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.59-r6, 2.13 sys-devel/automake: 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.5, 1.4_p6, 1.6.3, 1.9.4 sys-devel/binutils: 2.15.92.0.2-r1 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.10-r4 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.8.1-r4 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-O3 -march=athlon64 -ffast-math -funroll-all-loops -funit-at-a-time -fpeel-loops -funswitch-loops -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.4/env /usr/kde/3.4/share/config /usr/kde/3.4/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/share/config /usr/share/texmf/dvipdfm/config/ /usr/share/texmf/dvips/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/platex/config/ /usr/share/texmf/xdvi/ /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O3 -march=athlon64 -ffast-math -funroll-all-loops -funit-at-a-time -fpeel-loops -funswitch-loops -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe" DISTDIR="/var/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs autoconfig ccache distlocks sandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://distfiles.gentoo.org http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/var/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/portage/tmp" PORTDIR="/var/portage/tree" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/var/portage/overlay" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="X aalib acpi alsa amd64 apm arts artswrappersuid audiofile avi bash-completion berkdb bitmap-fonts bonobo cdparanoia cdr chipcard crypt cups dga doc encode fam flac font-server foomaticdb gd gif gtk gtk2 gtkhtml guile hbci imagemagick imlib ipv6 jack java jp2 jpeg junit kde kdeenablefinal libwww lzw lzw-tiff mad motif mp3 mpeg mysql ncurses nls nptl nptlonly oggvorbis opengl oscar oss pam perl png python qt qtmt quicktime readline real sdl skey slang ssl symlink tcpd tetex tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts usb userlocales xinerama xml xml2 xmms xpm xrandr xv zlib" Unset: ASFLAGS, CBUILD, CTARGET, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS

Unfortunately I am not a gentoo developer. take care, have fun /christian
Created attachment 76983 [details, diff] Make the configure script truly autoconf compliant Converts supplied arguments from --<option> (autoconf style) to <option> (scons style) so it interoperates better with portage.
Created attachment 76984 [details] New ebuild for kphotobook 0.0.7
Created attachment 77111 [details, diff] Disable documentation because documentation production violates the gentoo sandbox
Created attachment 77112 [details] ebuild for 0.0.7 no docs Disabled the documentation because: - it breaks the sandbox - it does not observe use flag 'doc' but at least now it installs!
Created attachment 86603 [details] Ebuild+patches together for convenience The download process wants to save all files as 'attachement.cgi', so I packaged them in a tar file for convenience (ebuilds + patches + digest/manifest). Just download, unpack in /usr/portage/media-gfx/ and you will have the ebuilds for media-gfx/kphotobook-0.0.7 :-)
(this is an automated message based on filtering criteria that matched this bug) Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely manner. There are simply too many new packages. Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =) Because this is a mass message, we are also asking you to be patient with us. We anticipate a large number of requests in a short time. Thanks, On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team, Jeremy. i'm closing this bug because of following reasons: - kde3 has been removed from portage - no new upstream releases on the sf.net or berlios homepages
