Can confirm 0.12.2 works on amd64. Patch for 12.1 still needed (renamed of course). Have had conversations with people several thousand miles away just fine.
I had to add dev-perl/XML-Parser to the dependancies to compile linphone. Everything else works fine. BTW: Why is kphone in net-misc and linphone in net-im?
Created attachment 56484 [details] Linphone 1.0.1 ebuild I created linphone-1.0.1 ebuild. Speex is now an external depedency and I recommend using it. Intltool has been also added fixing http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84456 . Source URI updated. The Gnome USE/depedencies are like in the previous ebuilds from portage. I hit all the USE flags on and compiled. Seems to be working fine. Please notice that this version needs libosip bumped, it's here http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59408 . Since I am a complete newbie and perhaps a bit clueless I would appreciate input.
There is a speex useflag. I would propose to honor it.
Mass reassign, seems apparently unmaintained now. Unless someone picks this up, it should be better removed from the tree.
In portage for over one year, closing a stale bug.
