2.4.13 was released today,
bug 458566 still exists.
An ebuild-rename is sufficient, just minor changes.

The python3 support is still missing.
I work on https://github.com/xmw/python-ldap/ which is a fork of https://github.com/broiledmeat/python3-ldap which incorporates the python3 patch in http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.python.ldap/1078

Permission to a) bump to the newest release and
b) add a live-ebuild for my fork?
