please run brasero as: brasero --brasero-burn-debug --brasero-media-debug &> brasero-debug.txt ; perform the operation to reproduce the bug and attach that resulting log file
Did you try unmounting (from Nautilus) the drive before trying to burn on it
or palimpsest...
