Description Alexandru Toma 2004-04-10 10:49:54 UTC
Skystreets seems to be unable to find some of its level files.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. skystreets
2. select a level or play (with space)
3.

Actual Results:
There are no levels!!!

To make it work you have to do this:
cd /usr/share/games/skystreets
skystreets

Also, even like this the game is unplayable... the left and right keys don't
really work (they barely move the ship right or left ... this is a known bug see
the BUGS file that comes with the source)

If you run it as skystreets -a they work somewhat but the game is still not very
playable. Skystreets-0.2.2 never had these problems.... I think Skystreets-0.2.3
should be masked because of this. It is not playable in the current state.

Fixed the level loading issue. I didn't see it before because I didn't try
loading a specific level. If you just start the game and press space with Play
selected, it loaded the right file. Only attempting to load a specific level
caused the failure.

The only known bug in BUGS is that some levels cause the ship to appear to
jitter on certain tracks. That doesn't seem to apply to the left/right
keys. I believe the fact that it's easier to move when moving at a
higher speed is intentional as part of the gameplay.
