Does this ebuild fill a dependency? Please see http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/policy.xml#doc_chap2 (the part about perl module ebuilds) and reopen if it meets those requirements (and let us know which one). Thanks!

Of course it will not fullfill any dependency of PERL, but i just want to understand, why a PHP [ PEAR ] module will fill a perl dependency? What is the relationship between them?

Ok - this was assigned to the *perl* team when it should have been assigned to the PHP team. I looked at it and assumed it's a perl module (as the bug wrangler probably did as well). Reassigning to the correct team.

Actually i'm currently applying a similiar policy regarding PEAR ebuilds.
