Description Mike Gilbert gentoo-dev 2013-06-19 02:51:11 UTC
This is kind of a weird one: Google has promoted Chromium 28 to the stable channel on Linux only. The release notes do not mention any security fixes.

Do we want to stabilize this yet?

Good question, it's indeed unusual release practice. I'd say don't stabilize. There should be some M28 release covering Windows, Linux, and Mac, with security notes, and that would be our stabilization target.

For me it's mostly about anticipated further releases in the stable channel, rather than actual concerns about stability. If you want to do the keywords dance more often, I'm fine with that - just saying it's not necessary.

I can always stabilize, the test does not take any particular manpower. If you change your mind, just reopen
