When I change something from qpaeq I cannot ear any difference at all. I see no error message apart of some related with saving new changed setting
$ qpaeq 

saving state
saving state

saving state
saving state

Looks like I need to change my output... not sure if this could be done more intuitively or we should point people there as, otherwise, it's a bit hard to figure out what is occurring

I don't see how to improve it on pulseaudio side :(
