We should check if eg. akonadi qt4 + soprano qt5 still causes issues. In any case qt5 support for soprano requires an unreleased version of qt5, last time I checked it was not even merged to master yet.
Upstream merged the qt5 enabled build to master, i have no clue in which version this will be shipped. qt4 and qt5 USE missing in dev-libs/soprano-2.9.3 and no more missing dependency.
