I no longer see these warnings in dev-lang/R-3.6.3: creating doc/manual/version.texi creating doc/manual/R-admin.html creating doc/manual/R-exts.html creating doc/manual/R-data.html creating doc/manual/R-intro.html creating doc/manual/R-ints.html creating doc/manual/R-lang.html ... This is a perfectly valid bug report that should have been sent upstream. That said, realistically, it's been seven years and it doesn't make much sense to perform bug archaeology now. Let's just be optimistic that this got fixed in the meantime.
