That's not a bug that's a feature. jscalibrator is not built on purpose.
Comment 4 vekin 2013-05-29 06:07:48 UTC
The description of the ebuild says it provides an api and a user configuration for joysticks.. kind of misleading?
Comment 5 Tom Wijsman (TomWij) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-06-06 14:45:33 UTC
This package properly installs libjsw as far as I can see.

If you want jscalibrator, you should file a new bug to request this new package.
Comment 6 vekin 2013-06-07 03:02:03 UTC
I agree and that does make sense but I feel that the ebuild description is a bit misleading as the source package includes jscalibrator and the description says "provide a uniform API and user configuration for joysticks and game controllers"
The "and user configuration for joysticks" part made it seem at least for me like I was also getting jscalibrator.

I just wanted to clarify why I thought I was getting jscalibrator and why I felt it was confusing.
