Can this package be stabilized? I know, it has "rc" on it and is declared beta by upstream, which is probably the reason it hasn't been stabilized yet.

But it seems there are no issues with it and it's needed to get support for php 5.4. As PHP 5.3 end of life is nearing, I think stabilization should go ahead unless there are open issues.
