Description Lukasz Strzygowski (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-04-07 10:22:03 UTC
MenuMaker scans system for installed programs and generate menus for various window managers. It's written in python, but i wonder why it's ebuild is in dev-python category. This category is only for python development utilities i think. I suggest rather x11-misc...
Comment 1 Alastair Tse (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-04-09 16:24:12 UTC
will probably move when time permits, or if the desktop-misc people would like to move it themselves.
Comment 2 Grant Goodyear (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-04-27 19:02:42 UTC
Feel free to move it whenenver you wish. Right now there's a lot of cruft
in dev-python that really shouldn't be there, but moving all of it is going
to be a darn big effort.
Comment 3 Jason Shoemaker (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-30 11:07:04 UTC
Grant, is still ok to move this to x11-misc? I was going to try epkgmove-0.5.py dev-python/menumaker x11-misc. Or you can try it?

I did a grep -R "menumaker" on gentoo-x86 cvs tree and didn't find dependencies.
Comment 4 Grant Goodyear (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-31 10:57:01 UTC
By all means, please feel free to move it. I'm going to be afk for another week or so. Thanks, g2boojum.

Please use epkgmove 1.0 (http://dev.gentoo.org/~port001/DevTools/epkgmove/)

It's maiden voyage :)
