Comment 1 Dirkjan Ochtman (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-05-23 06:32:03 UTC
Sure sounds like an upstream bug.
Comment 2 Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-05-23 08:36:39 UTC
From what version are you trying to upgrade?
Comment 3 Mats Lidell gentoo-dev 2013-05-23 20:40:19 UTC
I'm trying to update from 0.8.6_p1.
Comment 4 Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-05-23 21:30:33 UTC
check if you need to convert foo.addStep(ShellCommand...) to foo.addSTep(shell.ShellCommand...) in your master.cfg config files. In any case, this is not a Gentoo bug. Please check the list of changes in 0.8.7 here

Comment 5 Mats Lidell gentoo-dev 2013-05-26 19:20:55 UTC
I filed a bug report for this issue upstream as it is not a gentoo specific problem:

   http://trac.buildbot.net/ticket/2502
Comment 6 Mats Lidell gentoo-dev 2013-06-05 19:59:36 UTC
Reported as fixed in upstream in (coming version!?) 0.8.8
Comment 7 Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-06-05 20:03:59 UTC
https://github.com/buildbot/buildbot/commit/a9219ab771680285226dd2d78e7ffac3d27c17d6

Closing as upstream then.

Thanks
