subsurface build.log

When attempting to emerge subsurface, it fails to compile with several error messages (build log attached).

do you have an installed (old) version of libdivecomputer in '/usr/local'? the Makefile tries to autodetect libdivecomputer and may choose that version.

I did.  I thought I had cleaned it all out, but there was some cruft left.  Cleaning it all out allowed the build to complete cleanly.  Thank you.
