It's not quite a version bump, but it's still a direct successor (at least it seems to be). As fonts herd has been declared effectively defunct on gentoo-dev lately, perhaps cjk herd can take action here (as it will be best informed anyway).

The homepage is still the same, there's some info in English there (a bit more in release notes), still, cjk people are best suited to tell what exactly got changed.
