... nobody want to do it ?
maybe you could have a look here stkn ?
stkn ?? btw, happy easter :p
ok, here they are: pwlib-1.6.6 and openh323-1.13.5 (both in the tree now) attachments include: 1. patch for the gnomemeeting ebuild 2. required patch for configure to accept newer version of pwlib + openh323 and a happy easter to everybody out there :)
Created attachment 29105 [details, diff] patch for the gnomemeeting ebuild
Created attachment 29106 [details, diff] patch for gnomemeeting's configure script
let's test happy easter to you :)
tell me stkn how to make the ebuild of gm 1.02, i'm not very familiar with patch.
The above two patches worked 100% for me. gnomemeeting 1.0.2 now works where 1.00 didnt. I propose the ebuild get submitted. Good job Stefan. :)
1. go to the net-im/gnomemeeting directory 2. copy the old ebuild: cp gnomemeeting-1.00.ebuild gnomemeeting-1.0.2.ebuild 3. apply the diff: patch -p0 < gnomemeeting-1.0.2.ebuild.diff that's it
seeing that no prior versions of gnomemeeting work w/ gnome 2.6 (without some hacking) can we please get this into the tree?
What are you waiting to include it in the portage tree ? The next version ?
i'm on the CC of gnome, so no need to add me (without asking even!). Behaviour like this doesn't help one bit. stkn : could you maybe have a look here ?
Sorry for the behaviour foser, it's just that there are 19 days that gm 1.0.2 is out and still no ebuild :( Cya
foser: works for me, it's ok if i add it?
stkn, go ahead and add it .. i haven't got time to take this one.
Gnomemeeting ebuilds 1.00 and 1.0.2 give an error on startup "Failed to load avcodec_set_print_fn". It seems that H263 support is not working in our ebuilds. Check out this http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnomemeeting-devel-list/2004-June/msg00032.html for how what patches to include. I removed openh323-1.13.5-ffmpeg.diff from openh323 and rebuilt it which solved this problem. No more errors on startup. cheers Rajil
Any progress here? I would like to use gnomemeeting :)
This is already fixed
