http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/qa/autofailure.xml contains some bad English. Very often it's mixing subjects in singular with verbs in plural or vice versa. Some words are nonsensical, but the overall meaning is usually easily understood. Comprehensibility is nil here, though: "older packages often does not use automake and libtool instead" (§1). Presumably, there are other such spots - I only read the first section. By the way, the article is 5 years old. I'm not claiming it contains outdated info - I know little about autotools to judge. Just FYI. Since it's mostly minor mistakes, I offer a correction of the full article. I can mark and leave untouched the spots whose intended meaning I don't know. I'm a non-native, CAE+ level speaker. If you're interested, let me know and provide the source file I should edit (or is it the xml I can fetch directly?). Reproducible: Always
