Description Lachlan 2004-04-05 09:59:30 UTC
I have found a bug in the consoles after booting from the Gentoo 2004.0 AMD64 Live CD. Whenever I am typing messages appear at random intervals saying "Unknown key pressed" following by some more specific information regarding the ky code, etc. These messages are generated when typing normally (just a..z 1..9) and, can be triggered by pressing any of the additional keys on the keyboard (sleep, media, messenger, etc). I have tried several different keymaps, and all three available kernels at boot (gentoo, smp, emachines).

well, if it is not supported in gentoo, then we can surely not fix it on the release team ;) please send it upstream to the kernel folks.
