Currently discussions are lost on the licenses@g.o alias which makes it impossible to trace many license related decisions. This isn't in line with the Social Contract which says that "we will not hide problems". As discussed within the licenses team, we'd therefore like to create a gentoo-licenses mailing list. The list should be publicly accessible, discussion should stay on topic of packages' licenses and related issues. Initial recipients of the list should be the addresses of the licenses alias.
