Since upgrading to openresolv-2.5.4-r1, NetworkManager does seems to want to write to /etc/resolv.conf directly. It doesn't appear to be interfacing with the new openresolve. Since the upgrade, my /etc/resolv.conf has "Generated by NetworkManager" and does not show any of the configs that I have in /etc/resolvconf.conf However if I downgrade back to openresolv-3.5.3 then my /etc/resolv.conf again says "# Generated by resolvconf" and the configs in /etc/resolvconf.conf are respected. This is with networkmanager-0.9.8.0
Any log?
I had masked openresolv-2.5.4-r1 and hadn't realized that I had since upgraded to -r2. I don't have the issue with -r2, so you may want to close this out. However after downgrading to -r1 I see the problem still exists (log attached). The logs between -r1 and -r2 looked pretty much the same to me. I did notice that both wrote to /sbin/resolvconf. I did diff those files, but all i got was: --- /sbin/resolvconf 2013-05-02 12:08:46.000000000 -0400 +++ /tmp/r2.txt 2013-05-12 07:59:31.279454979 -0400 @@ -26,7 +26,7 @@ RESOLVCONF="$0" SYSCONFDIR=/etc -LIBEXECDIR=/lib64/resolvconf +LIBEXECDIR=/lib/resolvconf VARDIR=/var/run/resolvconf # Support original resolvconf configuration layout # as well as the openresolv config file I'm not exactly sure why /sbin/resolvconf would have a timestamp of 2 May if it was just written to...

I agree it is strange as nothing really changed. But never the less, let's close this for now, reopen if it breaks again. Thanks!
