kdelibs-4.10.2 has failed over the last 3 days (I resync'd each day and retryed).
I am able to start KDM but cannot login to KDE, it won't start. I believe this is due to some KDE upgrades working and this one failing.

I cannot actually see any error in the build log. The apparently failing module is nepomuk-rcgen.

This is embarrassing. Ran revdep-rebuild, which rebuild several things, now kdelibs installs okay.
I still think there is a minor bug in the way kdelibs failed without it being clear why.

Thanks for reporting.

Portage has a nice feature to prevent such build failures. Its called preserve-libs. If you want to enable it just add 'preserve-libs' to FEATURES. [1]

Also, for future reference: when you have a parallel build going (that is, MAKEOPTS is greater than -j1) it doesn't necessarily have a clear error message printed at the end since the other build jobs still run for a bit. Search for "Error 1" in the build log to find where the actual error occurred.

Also note that the offending package (media-libs/raptor) has a subslot operator for icu in testing, so once stabilised this problem will go away for good.
