I am trying to maintain my own version of the hardened sources under git at [1] but it's a nightmare because blueness uses patches and doesn't have his own git tree. I propose to use git, this will allow many people to reuse your work more easily. [1] https://github.com/Sabayon/kernel

Just go ahead and apply the patches to the vanilla kernel at your end. I don't see the problem.
