Time to stabilize 3.8.1. Arches, please target amd64, ppc, ppc64, x86. Also note, there are some long standing bugs on valgrind regarding strlen with workarounds. These are not regressions.

(In reply to comment #5) > What do you mean? Currently the valgrind-3.7.0-r4 ebuild does not specify which versions of glibc it is compatible with. And it does not build with anything newer than glibc-2.15. Since I have to use glibc-2.17 for various reasons and thus have it in package.keywords, portage let me try to emerge valgrind, but then the build failed. This should IMO not happen.
