Nautilus 2.6.0 no longer responds to input or repaint events after you view a pdf then attempt to 'back' or view another folder. The pdf was viewed using gpdf, embedded in the nautilus window. It only occurs when nautilus is in browser mode (startup with nautilus -no-desktop --browser). When nautilus is in spartial mode, double clicking a pdf opens gpdf in a new window and all behaves as expected. I have: app-text/gpdf-0.131 gnome-base/nautilus-2.6.0 gnome-extra/nautilus-media-0.8.0 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start nautilus in browser mode. (nautilus -no-desktop --browser) 2. Double click a pdf. The pdf is displayed embedded in the nautilus window. 3. Click back, or attempt to browse another folder using the tree pane on the left. 4. Nautilus hangs. Actual Results: Nautilus hangs. No longer responds to input or repaint events. Must be killed. After you kill nautilus, it restarts fine. Can't reproduce here. Please attempt to reproduce problem with less "crazy" CFLAGS before reporting.
Recompiled all of: app-text/gpdf-0.131 gnome-base/nautilus-2.6.0 gnome-extra/nautilus-media-0.8.0 with CFLAGS="-O2" and still the same problem occurs. Also reported in the forums by other people: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=156958
