Hey, The attached file (webware-ebuild.tar) is a new Ebuild that installs Webware for Python. Webware for Python is a suite of software components for developing object-oriented, web-based applications. My site (eradman.com) is powered by Gentoo-sparc using Apache/Webware/PostgreSQL. There are many ways to configure Webware, but this Ebuild was designed to enable a newbie to get up and running quickly. Advanced users can simply ingnore post-installation instructions and install their own site and adapter from the main source in /var/www/Webware-0.8.1. I suggest that the package be put under dev-python/webware. Eric Radman

Ignore that previous post. I was trying to update another bug. Is there a way to delete posts?
Reassigned to maintainer-wanted.

This package is now outdated anyway. If Webware were to be added to portage it should be done with v0.9.
