Can you insert linuxconf in the portage? I cannot create an ebuild because something always goes wrong... ;-)

Attach whatever ebuild you have so far, and let's have a look :)

In order for Linuxconf to support Gentoo it would require major modifications to
be made to Linuxconf (modifications that have to be done due to the differences
between all distributions).  None of our developers seem to be interested in
doing such work and quite a few people (including me) believe linuxconf is badly
designed (the UI's layout is horrible and confusing, the backend is
questionable) and potentially dangerous.

I'd recommend looking into webmin (which was recently ported by webmin's author)
or have people look into how much effort would be required to port redhats or
ximians tools.

Marking as WONTFIX unless a linuxconf fan can contribute a working ebuild with
the needed patches and offers to support it and fix every bug and handle every
user cry of pain when it misbehaves when they occur :)
