Description Phill 2013-04-02 20:27:46 UTC
As per the bug report in the URL above, fullscreen VNC sessions do not display the F8 menu unless something accomplishing the following is done:

1. #echo "Vncviewer*grabKeyboard: true" > /etc/X11/Xresources/xtightvncviewer
2. $xrdb -merge /etc/X11/Xresources/xtightvncviewer

resources are noted in the man page as grabKeyboard defaults to false.

I presume that the F8 menu will always not appear when using KDE, possibly could be default if kde use flag is set..?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run a fulllscreen VNC session
2. press F8
3. nothing happens

Expected Results:
A menu should appear, same as when not in fullscreen mode.

I don't see how this is a KDE bug, it looks like it's a bug with tightVNC. Reassigning to maintainer.
