The latest version of abcde (2.5.4-r1) seems to have a dependency id3tag? (dev-python/eyeD3:0.7) but there is no eyeD3:0.7 ebuild (there is an eyeD3-0.7.1.ebuild) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Emerge latest version of abcde (2.5.4-r1) 2. 3. Actual Results: !!! The following update has been skipped due to unsatisfied dependencies: media-sound/abcde:0 emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "dev-python/eyeD3:0.7". (dependency required by "media-sound/abcde-2.5.4-r1[id3tag]" [ebuild]) Expected Results: Successful emerging of latest version abcde
This looks very strange. There *is* eyeD3:0.7. Are you on a complete stable or unstable gentoo? Paste `emerge --info` and the full output of `emerge -pv =abcde-2.5.4-r1
Perhaps you are excluding /usr/portage/dev-python in your rsync, or mirror is out of date, or broken, or filesystem is broken, or PORTDIR is just defined wrongly ... But there is :0.7 in Portage: http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/dev-python/eyeD3/eyeD3-0.7.1.ebuild?view=markup And it works fine: Calculating dependencies... done!
