sys-apps/systemd installs the /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/legacy.conf which includes the line: d /run/lock/lockdev 0775 root lock - The start fails with following error: systemd-tmpfiles[1120]: [/usr/lib64/tmpfiles.d/legacy.conf:26] Unknown group 'lock' systemd[1]: Failed to start Recreate Volatile Files and Directories. You must've installed the interim systemd version which had sysvinit enabled by mistake. The legacy.conf file should not exist with the current versions.
