Section 4.b (topic Default Partitioning Scheme) mentions a limitation of old OBP versions for supporting root partitions greater than 2 GB.

I think it is worth clarifying that the limitation applies only to OBP versions below version 3 (according to the Google search results). If OBP version is above 3 there is no firm requirement to have separate /usr, /var and /home partitions.
