My blog page is blank and I don't see a way to login:

I've heard that this was due to obsolete themes being removed in a wordpress upgrade. I'd be happy with whatever the new default theme is.

yup, this is what happened. i reset it to the "twenty twelve" theme, which has the gentoo banner i created as its header image.

not sure if that is because i accidentally edited the skin systemwide when customizing my own blog's theme, or if one of the other planet admins overwrote the twenty twelve skin with my banner. either way, your blog should be up and running. let us know if there are any more problems.
