Created attachment 343168 [details] Blender 2.66 with 'doc' USE flag build log Blender 2.66 will not build if the 'doc' USE flag is enabled; instead, it hangs during the documentation build process. I am pretty sure it is hung up since there is no CPU or disk activity beyond the background or use by applications other than Portage and the Blender build process. Attached are an emerge --info and the build log. Please let me know if you need anything more. Uncompressed build log: http://rms3.creosotehill.org/mirror/blender-2.66_doc_USE_flag_build.log Compressed build log and emerge --info are attached

Did a process survey before killing the emerge process; sphinx-build-python3.3 is the only remaining build process (has used 0.00 seconds of CPU time, just sits there).
cannot reproduce CC'ing python herd about sphinx
it this reproducible with 2.67b? which sphinx version?
Nope, merges successfully with 'doc' USE flag. Feel free to close this bug if you want (AFAIK it still applies to 2.66, but I'm sure 2.67b will become just 2.67 and eventually unkeyworded. Should I test 2.66 again to make sure?). (In reply to Julian Ospald (hasufell) from comment #4) > it this reproducible with 2.67b? which sphinx version?
if it still happens for 2.66, then that version will probably not go stable
