As preparations for the release of version 2.0 have begun http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lib.sdl/58996 , I think it would be good if the libsdl ebuilds would be slotted with "1" so we can distinguish between the two APIs. Afterwards, the ebuilds that depend on the current libsdl ebuilds should add a slot :1 to their DEPENDS variable.
