About an hour ago I synced portage and media-libs/lensfun-0.2.7 was in the update cue. However, the emerge failed with the following output: * No Python implementation selected for the build. Please set * the PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET variable in your make.conf to one * of the following values: * * python2_6 * ERROR: media-libs/lensfun-0.2.7 failed (setup phase): * No supported Python implementation in PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET. * * Call stack: * ebuild.sh, line 93: Called pkg_setup * ebuild.sh, line 326: Called python-single-r1_pkg_setup * python-single-r1.eclass, line 220: Called die * The specific snippet of code: * die "No supported Python implementation in PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET." I don't have python-2.6 installed in my system. The previous version of lensfun installs with no issues using my current python setup which is set by eselect to python-3.2 as default and python-2.7 as my other interpreter. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge -1 lensfun 2. 3. Actual Results: emerge fails with above output. Expected Results: successful emerge. My emerge --info: Portage 2.2.0_alpha169 (default/linux/amd64/13.0/desktop/kde, gcc-4.7.2, glibc-2.17, 3.7.5-pf x86_64) ================================================================= System uname: Same here - as a temporary fix I had to mask media-libs/lensfun, otherwise I wasn't able to run emerge -uDN
Please see bug #456990
