If net-libs/webkit-gtk:2 is installed, then installation of x11-libs/wxGTK-2.9.4.1 will install /usr/lib/libwx_gtk2u_webview-2.9.so.4.0.0 library. configure has --enable-webview/--disable-webview and --enable-webview-webkit/--disable-webview-webkit options.
Noticed the same thing while unmerging net-libs/webkit-gtk. >>> Unmerging (1 of 2) net-libs/webkit-gtk-1.8.3-r200... >>> Unmerging (2 of 2) net-libs/webkit-gtk-1.8.3-r300... ... ... ... !!! existing preserved libs: >>> package: net-libs/webkit-gtk-1.8.3-r200 * - /usr/lib64/libwebkitgtk-1.0.so.0 * - /usr/lib64/libwebkitgtk-1.0.so.0.13.4 * used by /usr/lib64/libwx_gtk2u_webview-2.9.so.4.0.0 (x11-libs/wxGTK-2.9.4.1)
