There's a new version of dev-libs/yaz - actually a few - I'm going to attach an ebuild that works for yaz 4.2.51 release 2013-02-12 Maybe not a lot of people use this but the Evergreen ILS project depends on at least 4.2.48 to build Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Latest Portage Tree 2. Old Yaz 3.

I've build pecl-yaz-1.1.5 against this yaz 4.2.51 made from this ebuild. Have also been able to configure, compile, install and run the Evergreen ILS with this version.
Why did you remove the patch for ICU? I committed with the patch added back. (also on the EG list, so I saw this before wranglers assigned to me).
I'd had a build issue with it on my first tries, commented that out (as one of my fix attempts) and forgot to un-comment back - apologies. I've got the ICU patch back in on mine as well now. Just tested on two different systems, success for this Yaz, and the stuff that depends on it. Thanks for getting that into the tree so fast.
Closing, please do submit updates for OpenSRF and other EG packages. I'd also like to get every single Perl module dependency of EG into Portage, so we don't have to mess with CPAN polluting the system.
