Created attachment 342666 [details] the attached emerge --info is from a CHROOT enviroment. Please disregard the kernel 2.6.39 output from it. When upgrading to from kernel 2.6.39 to 3.7.10 I get the following ACPI error: [ 5.487051] systemd-udevd[1109]: starting version 197 [ 1.676734] ACPI: Invalid Power Resource to register! [ 5.778759] ACPI Warning: [ 5.778764] 0x0000000000000b00-0x0000000000000b07 SystemIO conflicts with Region \SOR1 1 (20120913/utaddress-251) [ 5.778767] ACPI: If an ACPI driver is available for this device, you should use it instead of the native driver
Is there an issue? I believe this just is a warning.
Yes, a small memory address/space is shared when using ATI SB chipset SMBus drivers and ACPI together. I had to disable SMBus native driver.
Yeah, this is just a warning for the user to pick one or the other, it shouldn't be of a big issue; especially not when this is the SMBus.
