Description barade.barade 2013-03-17 11:12:54 UTC
I'd like to install the GIT version of KDevelop. It requires x11-libs/qt-core instead of dev-qt/qtcore.

Please post your `emerge --info =dev-util/kdevelop-9999' output in a comment.

Please paste the output of emerge -pv =kdevelop-9999, including the full error message that portage is giving you.
Comment 4 barade.barade 2013-03-23 11:15:01 UTC
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy ">=x11-libs/qt-webkit-4.7.0:4[kde]".
(dependency required by "dev-util/kdevelop-9999::kde" [ebuild])
(dependency required by "=kdevelop-9999" [argument])

thought it was qt-core, too

When did you last update the KDE overlay? The needed changes were made quite some time ago now.

Sorry, you're right. What's the best possibility to connect layman -S with eix-sync? Adding it to /etc/eix-sync.conf?

Apparently you can put * in /etc/eix-sync.conf to call layman -S automatically, but I haven't tested it.
