Visual Regexp is an interactive graphical regular expression editor. I suggest the category dev-util for this ebuild.

I got it to emerge fine, and everything seemed to be in order. granted there was no manpage, or at least not intuitive. all the files were in some directory in /usr which is good. party on all party on!

There's a silly problem with the ebuild, the DESCRIPTION line needs to be changed to:

DESCRIPTION="A visual regular expression editor, allowing a developer to quickly construct and test regular expressions"

(Or maybe something shorter)

i fixed the description, the old one was from some sound application :-)
plus, i deleted the spaces you used, and inserted tabs :)
i tested this ebuild on a couple of my computers, works fine.
