Description Olof Kindgren 2013-03-07 19:42:11 UTC
I've been using this package for more than a year on x86 and amd64 without problems. Only has a dependency on x11-themes/faenza-icon-theme, which has been stable for a long time. It's the latest version, and upstream doesn't seem to have touched it for two years, so I'd say it's pretty stable

marked stable for amd64 and x86 but in reality this package is propably now unnecessary
every Xfce related icon from this separate package should now be in faenza-icon-theme OR be otherwise unnecessary
if you just switch to plain faenza, do you lose any icons? using Xfce myself with plain faenza and I don't see anything missing

i'll open removal request for this later, i've just been delaying it because i haven't had time to review the icons

I did some diff'ing between Faenza and Faenza-Xfce in usr/share/icons. Some icons differ and the following icons were only available in faenza-xfce-icon-theme

Only in Faenza-Xfce/apps/48: preferences-desktop-default-applications.svg.png
Only in Faenza-Xfce/apps/48: xfapplet-1.png
Only in Faenza-Xfce/apps/48: xfce4-fsguard-plugin-warning.png

I removed the package, and couldn't see much difference, except for some color changes on a few icons, so I guess it's not needed anymore.

To be completely sure I guess someone would need to go through the xfce sources and see if they are used anywhere, but I won't have time for that so just being able to remove it from my package.keywords seems to be enough for me.
