I'm not exactly sure if eclean removes any sources of live packages at all, but on my system I still have at least some of them left, even after cleaning in destructive mode. For example, I have kde-base/oxygen-icons-4.10.1 installed now, and even after "eclean-dist --destructive" I still have: ~ > du /usr/portage/distfiles/svn-src/oxygen-icons-4.10.49.9999/ 777M /usr/portage/distfiles/svn-src/oxygen-icons-4.10.49.9999/ Am I missing something? Reproducible: Always
Live sources are special since they are not declared in SRC_URI or any other standardized metadata (bug 182028 is about standardization of live ebuilds).
I added a dependency on that bug. If you don't like that this bug is still open, feel free to close it as INVALID instead.
