I would like to start to move some of our scripts to their own git repo, as to not live directly in the puppet / cfengine repo. I propose infra/automation-scripts. -A
agree with the idea (it's partially already done for mirrors (plan to publish more stuff), fully done for planet/blogs). disagree with the repo, let's use multiple repos per set of (relevant) scripts
I'm happy to split stuff up later. To start: I need a better library for chatting with LDAP from python (ldap.modlist? ugh.) We don't 'share code' at all between scripts, and we should start doing that. -A
