Pidgin 2.10.7 has segfaulted and attempted to dump a core file.
This is a bug in the software and has happened through
no fault of your own.

Try to disable contact availibility plugin first, I'm sure this patch is missing: http://git.overlays.gentoo.org/gitweb/?p=user/mrueg.git;a=blob;f=net-im/pidgin/files/pidgin-2.10.7-fix-cap.patch

Is this still failing with net-im/pidgin-2.10.7?

no its seem to vanish with the version in portage
