Log of failed boot

I use VPS based on xen.

After upgrading from hardened-sources-3.7.0 to hardened-sources-3.7.5-r1 with same .config my VPS fails to boot. Then I've tried hardened-sources-3.8.0-r1 and it has booted normally.

I'll alert upstream, but they may already be aware since its fixed in 3.8.0.

indeed, this should be fixed in PaX for 3.8 and even later 3.7 (which we nevertheless stopped supporting).

Okay, 3.7.5-r1 was a rapid stabilization because of the sock diag bug.  In a few weeks we'll push to a 3.8 and move past the xen bug.

3.8.3 is in the tree and should be free of this bug.  Reopen if it isn't.
